Catching up with students: DAAE’s first F2F kwAAEntuhan

In celebration of the Mental Health Awareness Month, the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics (DAAE) conducted its first face-to-face kwAAEntuhan last November 12, 2024, at the CEM Function Hall. It was originally scheduled on October but postponed due to the recent typhoons.

This event was organized by the DAAE Undergraduate Instruction Committee which aimed to check on the welfare of the students and to provide an avenue for student-faculty interaction outside of the classroom. It was attended by 50 BS Agricultural and Applied Economics (BS AAE) students.

The event started with a mood board which showed a snapshot of the students’ ongoing semester. It was followed by a breakout session facilitated by the faculty members, an opportunity for them to interact with the students and discuss questions related to current circumstances and future plans. The students also engaged with each other through games which piqued their interests.

Overall, kwAAEntuhan became a breather to both AAE students and faculty members.
