The third day of CEM foundation week highlights the college’s students beyond their academic life. With the theme Harnessing Business and Economic Opportunities in the New Normal students showcased their talents in a Tiktok and talent competition.
Student winners in the Tiktok Competition are Elliah Briones and Jonel Mendoza. In CEM Got Talent which is judged by Prof. Bathan, Prof. Bolanos, and Prof. Quilloy Carlos Miguel Pua, Sandra Villanueva, Loraine Potenciado, and Elliah Briones emerged as winners.
Aside from these talent showcase, Team Kayumanggi, which recently won in IFAMA Global Business Case Competition were also recognized. The team, composed of BS Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship students Reymond Villarivera, Krisha Garcia, Soffia Ayo, Rheine Balagtas, and Missy Disu, emerged as 1st runner up in their competition last June 2021.
Lastly, UPLB Economics Society, which has significantly served the community and the university, is declared as the Outstanding Student Organization for 2021. Chip de Guzman
