The League of Career Expo Conveners, consisting of the College of Economics and Management Alumni Inc. (CEMAFI), the College of Economics and Management Student Council (CEMSC) A.Y. 2017 – 2018, and the College of Economics and Management Senior Class Council (CEMSCC), organized the CEM Career Expo 2018 last June 1-2, 2018 at the REDREC Building, CEM, UP Los Baños. The Career Expo aimed to expose CEM students to a diverse range of jobs equally suited to their fields of specialization and to provide companies with excellent graduates who are willing to give back to the Filipino people. The event was led by a team of members including: Krystel Jade Ilano and Ma. Lorena Donato (Project Head and Co-Head), Normita Diane Codiñera (External Affairs Committee Head), Ramon Gonzales III (Marketing Committee Head) and Marco Del Mundo (Logistics Committee Head).

The two-day event offered the graduating students of CEM a series of inspirational talks from the following outstanding alumni of CEM: the Hon. Francis Laurel, UP Board of Regent and President of Toyota Batangas; Mr. Guido Delgado, President and CEO of Emerging Power Inc. (EPI); Mr. Geronimo Collado, Senior Adviser of Ropali Group of Companies together with Mr. Jun Santiago, Head of its Human Resource Department; and Mr. Rodolfo Azanza, President and Managing Director of Norconsult Mgt. Services (Phils). A job fair for the graduating students were conducted on the second day with HRs from Enchanted Kingdom and Ropali Group of Companies present in the event. At least 60 students participated in the talks on the first day while 24 students attended the job fair on the second day. KJIlano
