DE alumni receive CEM Outstanding Alumni Award

Two of the Department of Economics’ (DE) alumni were awarded the College of Economics and Management (CEM) Outstanding Alumni Award last July 27, 2022. 
Atty. Paul John F. Barrosa from the Class of 2010 was awarded the CEM Outstanding Alumnus in Local Government Administration, while Ms. Everette E. Villaraza from the Class of 2009 received the CEM Outstanding Alumna in Public Finance.

The CEM Outstanding Alumni Award is the highest recognition that the college gives to its exemplary alumni who have demonstrated significant contributions in the fields of economics, agricultural economics, agribusiness and entrepreneurship, and cooperatives.

This annual award is given in celebration of CEM Foundation Week. Other awardees include 
Ms. Marieta Panaglima-Hwang and Mr. Theodore Ivan R. Paris from the Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship.
