Library Services

Circulation Books – available for home loan and can be borrowed by undergraduate students 5 books for a period of 2 weeks, graduate students 10 books for a period of 2 weeks and faculty 10 books for a period of 1 month and staff 10 books for a period of 2 weeks.

Reserved Books – these are books placed on reserve by faculty member required for collateral readings.

Reference Collection
– includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, yearbooks, handbooks, advances, directories, bibliographies, maps, atlas etc. These are consulted for definite information rather than reading through.

Theses and Dissertation –the undergraduate theses manuscripts are arranged alphabetically by author. Dissertation and graduate theses are classified according to UPIANA.

Serials – are on closed shelved and are for room use only, indexes are shelved for easy reference. These indexes are used to locate articles on a given subject.

Course Reserve – these are photocopied reading materials placed on reserve by faculty members for required readings.

Interlibrary Loan
– books or materials that are not available in the college library may be borrowed from UPLB library through interlibrary loans.
